Regular and prompt attendance is mandatory. Twenty percent or more absences or class cuts per course in one term and/or chronic tardiness (defined as seven (7) instances of ten (10) minute lateness per course) may result in dismissal. Upon the receipt of justification for absences or lateness, the director in her discretion may allow students to make up missed classes. Counseling will be given to students who have been absent from ten (10) percent or more of their classes. Kareful and Karefree Training School, Inc.’s policy does not permit a leave of absence, if a student officially withdraws from the school by submitting a written request to withdraw while maintaining satisfactory academic progress, he/she may be readmitted upon reapplication and the approval of the Director.
